I Rest My Case

I guess it's been 7yrs already since I thought that there is a different sort of feeling towards him. I noticed him during our 1st year CompE Election at USC-TC. He was nominated and elected as the President. I wanted to vote for him because I like his eyes and I think he will be a good leader but one of my classmate ran in the same position so we voted for him. So eventually the feelings seems to grow more as I kept on seeing him everyday at school even though we're on different block section. What do I like him most is being the kuya of our classmate. He has this eyes that melts my heart. He is also gifted with a great intelligence specially in one of our ECE subject, where he gave time and went home late just to be our tutor (dba nakaka inlove). But we have different set of friends and status in life. His from a prosperous and known chinese family. So, I just kept my feelings.

Now, we are both working already. I only got to see him in our badminton games once a week. Before I thought because he has a similarity of my x-bf but I don't get to see him already but I kinda miss him also. My friends keep on telling me to just move on because he is so torpe... some doubt if he is gay... I didn't mind them and followed my heart. Trying and praying that somebody he will show to me that I have small place in his heart.

After watching movie with him and our friends, I tried to recall everything that would show if he has feelings towards me.

- if cares for me, he will really offer and tell the taxi driver to get inside to our subdivision so that I could safely go home at night.
- he would initiate any conversion when we're together.
- showed some joke at me.
- would reply to my thousand of txt messages even though I'm not unli text :)
- offer some help...

But maybe he only treats me as a friend. Cause he reminds me if we have a badminton game. Now, I'm tired of being martyr and so loyal to him... after all of these things and feelings for him, it seems nothing has change. There is no connection between us...

With all of thses.... I rest my case... I'm letting my heart to rest from being used just beat for only you...

Maguindanao Massacre

The Maguindanao massacre, also known as the Ampatuan massacre (after the town where the mass graves were found), occurred on the morning of November 23, 2009, in the town of Ampatuan in Maguindanao province, on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. The victims were about to file a certificate of candidacy for Esmael Mangudadatu, vice mayor of Buluan town. Mangudadatu was challenging Andal S. Ampatuan, Jr., son of the incumbent Maguindanao governor Datu Andal Ampatuan Sr., in the forthcoming Maguindanao gubernatorial election,[1] part of the national elections in 2010. Those killed included Mangudadatu's wife, his two sisters, lawyers, and aides.

I got frightened when I heard this news. Specially when most of the victims are women. They were killed brutal. This happened before the start of the campaign... and what do we expect when during the campaign period or the election day?
People now can dared to kill for the sake of the politics...
I condemn this Massacre and the people who can do this.
They don't have the right to be alive in this world.
What really happened?
This is a big problem to our government?
What can they do now?

A Lots of New on Weekends

Last week was the busiest week that I had so far... Work investigation, coaching... then on weekend we had the Outreach feeding program, dinner w/ friends, fun run and 1&1 Clubs Acquaintance party.

  • I hate it but it is part of my job. Yes! that is the reality... there are things that you don't expect but suddenly happens... all you need to do is to get more proof that it is not true and pray for the best. As much as I hate memos... I hate giving memos... so please have mercy on your records it would really affect in your future...
  • Eclipse Outreach Feeding Program. With all of the blessings we have received this year, one of it is being part of the top teams, more top agents, good working relationship and no calamity in Cebu... we are sharing it to the less fortunate children in the Missionary of the Poor Little Lamb Center. This is the first time we will be doing a feeding program to the Autistic children who needs care and love. It was a success giving a limited time and budget but with the love and support of the team and our friends, we're able to give everything we could.

  • Eat All You Can @ Joven's Park Mall. After the tiring outreach program, my college girlfriends treat me to a dinner as a post and pre celebration of Danica and Deejoy. It was my first time also to eat their as friends recommended to try their foods. First time to wear my kimono dress and bought a so comfy shoes. Thanks girls!
  • Fun Run @ Mepza. You don't see me usually running but early Sunday morning together with my teammates (Angie, Jim, Gayang and Ryan) we signed up for the Run for a Cause formed by the Mepza Companies. I don't know how long 5kilometers is but surely it will one hell of a sweating. At first we are so excited and we are full of energy in the stretching part. Before turn to the first corner of the run, we asked if are "we there yet?"... We did not pushed our selves to run cause we know we haven't prepared for it. Suddenly the shoes of Gayang needs to be fix so we just walked and it turns out to be a Funny Walk. We kept on joking and laughing out loud. Maybe soon I'll try again the fun run/walk...

  • 1&1 Clubs Acquaintance Party. Normally we have this acquaintance at school but not in 1&1. We had a jamming session at Belly Idol, Mango Grill. I was there also to support my friend who sang a song heartily.

whew! imagine it was a hell of a schedule. Aside those mentioned above there are still things I did for it to be successful. Too bad I was not able to play badminton, but maybe next week... still need to chose between hiking or badminton... I kinda miss him already... I can't tell him directly that I wanted to watch movie with him...

Ok back to the topic... I really had fun and there lots of first times after not able to do so in the past couple of months. Hopefully more activities to help others to come and esp for me to loose weight. :P

5 Things To Do While You're Still Single

I have been a certified single lady for almost 5years already. IMAGINE!!!! I have survived, up until now...
Let's see if I have done already the things that a single should do.

1. Get a hobby

- i have lots of hobbies but the problem is that I easily get tired of it. So far the only hobby that is sticking with me is playing badminton.

2. Learn to take care of yourself
- I failed on this part. Physically I am harsh on my body. I ate any food if I wanted to anytime.

3. Travel alone
- Since last year I traveled a lot but with friends and family. Last birthday I was able to travel out of the town alone. Now I am planning to travel alone out of the province. Still checking the perfect place to visit. This gives me a time to contemplate things I have done before and plan ahead for the future.

4. Be single
- Single? so much... I've been independent in my decisions. I wanted to work and solve my problems in life alone as much as possible. I haven't been in a date for quite sometimes already.

5. Celebrate you
- Yes, I maybe successful in my career as a supervisor in an early age. I buy and go everywhere I want but deep inside there are still insecurities that is preventing me to shine. Hopefully I could conquer this negative thoughts of it.

Eclipse Zombies

Last November 2, 2009, we had a halloween celebration in the office. Of course, there is a scary costume contest. To avoid spending more money we agreed to be zombie. But I got sad because my favorite old white shirt was used for the costumer and I need to tear it up. :(

The scary side of me... isn't it?

Happy Halloween!!

Angie's Surprise Birthday Party

Last October 13, the team gave Angie a birthday surprise celebration.
After badminton game, we had dinner at Larsian. I forgot I should not eat chicken.
Yeah, after that we blindfolded Angie going to the Open Mic.
We sang a songs to Angie... what so called "manyita"

Beer and cake... at Open Mic

We had a blast... singing!

This is the card I created for Angie...
whew I kept on recalling the creative side of me...

October 31, 2009 [Last Day of Voters Registration]

The Voters Registration for this coming 2010 Election started 2nd of December 2008. And just last Saturday was the last day of registration. Couple of months ago the campaign to register and make your vote is very strong. One of this is the AKO ANG SIMULA by ABS-CBN. It is widely spread all over the country. They use different strategies to make the Filipinos especially the young ones to register and vote this election.

Luckily me that I was so excited to have my first vote. So, when I reached at the age of 18, with my cousins, we lined up in the COMELEC building early in the morning just to register. We waited for 4-5hours for our turn to be served. Then the election next year, I was able to vote and at the same time I was a 3rd member in one of the precinct in our barangay.

October 31, 2009 was the last day for the registration. A month before the number of newly registrants have increased everyday. You see this is one of the Filipino traits. It is like cramming... we work on the task/issue when deadline is near already. I, myself keeps on waiting for the deadline before I submit my reports. But what I get mad of with the people last week trying to register was they got mad because of so many reasons. No forms, slow process, no extension, small place, typhoons, floods, etc... and all of the reasons they could think to blame the COMELEC. I'm taking the sides of COMELEC but I guess they have given us ample of time to register. Being a voter is our responsibility as a Filipino citizen. Through election it is our chance to select the perfect candidate to help our beloved Philippines rise up again... the person who has the heart and mind not to the wealth and position... but to serve the Filipino people. Do not wait for the propaganda to encourage you to vote, as a Filipino, let us open our eyes in what is happening in our society. Let's us start by being an early registrant voter... let us not blame others! At the end it will be our fault who ever will be setting in the highest position of our country whether you have voted or not.
