Storm Ondoy

Yesterday news flashed that the Storm Ondoy hits the Luzon. After work I wanted to watch the UAAP Junior Finals between DLSZ and ADMU but I don't know how to operate the TV in the office so I just settled my self in the internet. In the facebook I saw posts about flash floods caused by Ondoy in the Katipunan. I thought it was in our place so I rushed and call our house. My nephew told me that there's not that much rain but there's a strong wind. When I checked the site again it's the Katipunan in Quezon City who got floods. hahaha I got panicked easily. The streets of manila were turned to rivers as to the height of the waters reached to a 2-storey building. People are stranded in their house roofs. Cars are washed away with the water. I can't imagine my self being in that situation. Thank God we're not able to experience this calamity. After getting news about the storm, I missed my home and my family. I bought burgers for them and had a chitchat with my teammates then went home straight. The whole night I kept of watching news about the storm. Reports said that there are still peole stranded in their roof at night. Someone delivered their baby during the storm.

I'm so excited and thrilled for this UAAP Season 72 Finals... My Ateneo Eagles will play with the UE Warriors. But sad to say due to the calamity in Manila the game schedules are moved to October 1, 2009 (Thursday). Kinda happy since it is my rest day I can watch it at home then today I will be playing badminton. win-win! Go Ateneo!

I hope and still praying for the safety of everyone...

Here We Go Again

This feelings keeps on occurring... I had it worst this 1st quarter of 2009 where I submitted my resignation letter... then it ends up to re-tracking it... Now, still trying to fight for it... I really don't know what is the reason for not having a good mood at work... my team is performing well... It so proud of them for the first time we were under the TOP3 team for 2 months already... I felt pity to my team because I keep on coaching them to work hard and its me who is having a difficulty on how I felt towards my work. Hoping this Holiday seasonI would calm down... and will find where should I go...

This Sunday will be game 1 of UAAP Season 72 finals... Ateneo deserves to be in the Finals and I pray that they will win the crown too... for them to have a back2back championship... Go Ateneo! One BIG FIGHT!

New Hair Day

Just last week I had my hair cut and later had a rebond...
I wanted to have a shorter hair but they said it would make me like a chopping board... ok fine...
I love my hair right unlike before its like a broomstick... whew!
Having a well done hair it would really give you more confidence...

Surprise Wake Up Txt

yeah Sunday afternoon as I woke up around 3:20pm from a night shift, got a txt message stating...

"Chen, mata na.:) hapit na3 pm.:)"

I did not expect that he will txt back... cause I txted him around 1am (sunday) that I might not come to the game because I'm on night shift. Well, its just a simple txt to him but it means a lot to me. Too bad I was not able to woke up early cause my phone is on silent mode.

whew! My days would be complete always if only I receive messages like that from a special someone surprisingly.

To go or Not to go ?

We have this badminton session every Sunday afternoon with my college friends. Then I'm part of the badminton club here at work. The club had decided to transfer to a new venue for the game to the Holiday Spa. So which means I will be seeing them together... I don't want to be conscious during the game... whew! So now I'm re battling if will I go or not to the badminton game today.

UAAP Season 72 : Ateneo #1 seed

September 12, 2009, The Battle of the #1... ADMU vs FEU... this is the last game of the UAAP Season 72, 2nd elimination round. Questions rising if the defending champs can stay in the seed #1... Who will fight against the strong #3 U.E. in the semi-finals?
Both Ateneo and FEU had the twice-two-beat bonus but #1 slot is still for battle.

I promised my self to give time for my hair... I should have had my hair yesterday but its Ateneo's game... I canceled my appointment and stayed in our house. My mom went out to watch movie, my nephew hangout outside with his friends and my dad before he left, he demanded to let the TV rest while the game has not started yet. I got mad because I don't want to missed a part of the game. So I went to the kitchen and get all the food I could get so that while watching I will be able to eat without going to the kitchen. Can't you see that everyone in our house went out? I guess realized this went my mom got home and explained that I am too noisy while watching an Ateneo game. Honestly it is true, just this ADMU vs FEU game... I was screamed so hard... my heart beats fast.... i keep on tumbling and fall from the chair... jump in here and there... i even lighted the altar's lights in my parents room and prayed that Ateneo will win the game... during the 4th quarter where Ateneo had more shots already... I banged my head on the wall.. whew! Good thing nothing happened to me... I was so happy that after all the bad shots and tight defense of FEU... Ateneo still made a good end!

Since I was very overwhelmed with their win... I was not able to sleep after the game for my 11pm shift at work. I just ate my dinner and then watch the reply with my mom. This time no shouting... I watched throughly the game... too bad I was not able to watch the thrilling 4th quarter because I was late already ... :)

I love the game... it gives me a great adrenaline rush!

I love the shoot gun moves done by Jai... i'll try to ask permission to the owner if I could post it in my blog... :)

Yeah.. thank you so much Lord for letting the Ateneo win and not letting them give up easily!
And they won and end the game with a POISE!

Hanging Out with Cousins

Last night was the dream come true to me and my cousins... it's months since we planned to go out and have a drinking session... yeah it happened in Cassanova (official hangout of my dear cousin Van)... with out muse cousin, Riza, who has a curfew at 10pm, set by her husband, who is more stricter than fairy godmother... anyhow we lasted until 4 in the morning... we had 3 ladies drink ( strawberry margarita, weng2x and kamikazee). You can't blame me if I love drinking... cause it runs in our blood both father and mother side :P We talked alot of things... I really had a great time with this 2... they are the sisters that I never had :)

We saw also the friend of my X, who is also a friend of my cousin... small world... anyway past is past like hello its been 5yrs already and he is asking me hows him? LOLZ!
Ok... then the coolest older cousin of mine went their also... they said he was asked by our aunt to accompany us... while they had a heart to heart with Riza... me and Vanessa had a blast in the dance floor... with our hubog2x moves...

You know how excited I am to get married and have my own kids. But knowing the situation of my cousin whos hubby is so strict and she can't even get out. She maybe married already but it doesn't mean she can't go night out... and also she don't do this everytime. I know her... she's a very responsible woman. Just felt bad with her. Hope they're doing fine already. I just realized that it is not a simple relationship being married. whew!

Anyways, I planning to get a new hair cut this week... hopefully it would be a nice hairstyle that would flatter my big face my mother said I should get aside slash bangs to hide my face. ouch! anyways she's right... mothers knows best diba?

Hopefully, we could hang out again my dear cousins... ;)

We never expected that the baby in womb of my cousin April is a twins...
yeah... It is the first time the family got a twin... it was because the hubby of my cousin got a twin also... I'm still confused which is which....
physically they are not the identical but still don't know until I check there tags...
Their parents did not dared to unattached the hospital tags... lolz...
They dont have a birthmarks also that would separate them...

Ian Troy's 1st Birthday

Instead of playing badminton... I went to my inaanak na nephew's birthday at Jolibee Guadalupe...
I went there in time the food was distributed... timing! We had fun... kids crying when Jolibee mascot went to the room...
Most of the visitor are just our relatives... whew I saw that our family keeps on growing... got cousins with 2-6 kids already whew... we could raise a kids foundation already...
I want a baby also maybe not now but I love to have one soon!!!!

Not Another Bohol Trip

Yeah... last weekend, straight from our night shift my team went to Bohol for an outing...
some are first timers and some was their 2nd time... it is my 3rd time to visit Bohol... i love the place... anyways... we had lots of touring around the bohol... then a tambay along the seashore of Panglao Island... also I met a friend from Bohol... btw, thanks for helping us touring Bohol...

Alta Cebu

it was my 4th MTB... so we went to this new place Alta Cebu in Cordova, Cebu.
we had less discussion and win for us since we are not imprisoned in the conference hall.
we played billiards and videoke... some went swimming and it so jealous at them... :( then the best thing we had a 1hr massage in our room... whew!

The place is nice but it is much better if they have access to the beach...
For the food... its kinda salty or i just don't get the flavors of their foods... :)
