Ateneo Blue Eagles Back2Back Champion UAAP Season 72

Ateneo Blue Eagles wrapped up the season with a back-to-back championship. They are my bet considering they are the top seeded. I know the senior Eagle will do their best to have a full blast play since these are their last season in the UAAP. This is the first I have followed the UAAP men's basketball season. Me, my cousin and family really enjoyed the games esp when Ateneo are playing, everything will stop and even I'm sick I still carefully watch their games on tv.(hopefully I could one of their games in the Araneta).

Jai, Rabeh, Nonoy and the team did a great job to defend their title. Great defense and offense and the fastbreaks which I don't normally see with them. All I can say is WOW! Jai as a co-captain of the team did really a good job. His moves when he had a trey... the SHOT GUN baby! Jai really deserves this championship after how many years he spent just to improve his performance.

We don't actually know personally but it shows on how people describes him. For how many months I have been reading sports forums and articles, you will know that this man is not only a basketball player but a man with a big heart... guess bigger than his body hehehehe

Now the season has ended I can't wait for the UAAP Season 73... but It won't be the same before because I will surely miss the Ateneo jersey #5 with surname REYES on top of it.

To Jai, Rabeh and Nonoy, God Bless in your new path after graduating...
Hoping to see you again in the basketball games... :)

CONGRATULATIONS ATENEO BLUE EAGLES for winning the back to back championship!

UAAP Season 72 Finals : ADMU vs UE (Game1)

This is the day I've been since last week... it was supposedly last sunday the Game1 but due to the big damage brought by storm Ondoy last weekend, it was postponed today. I was worried also when I heard the Jai and his family was affected by the flood. They were stuck in their roof. But the good news they are all safe and hopefully Jai will retained his strength after this heart breaking disaster. But as they say... life most go on and so as the UAAP Finals... :)

I was blessed that the game1 is today and it is my rest day! So, we watched the game in our house with my 2 cousins Vanessa and Jonnah. Later my mom and my nephew joined us. It was a thrilling game. Both teams did a good job in their role. I kept on screaming and jumping during the game and I almost burned the chicken that I was cooking. Vanessa is on the UE side because he loves Paul Lee *duh!?!?!* peace cuz!

In the 2nd quarter my dear Jai stepped up and it rained treys... :) and the shot gun is fully loaded! Rabeh, Nicko and Ryan had a great game too. After how many deadclock because of the tied scores, the Ateneo won the game1! This Sunday will be the Game2 and I prayed that they will win the championship! But for now I'm very thankful to HIM above for the win and the great game. I prayed the it will end at game 2!

Congratulations Ateneo Blue Eagles!

My Own Way to Help Ondoy's Victims

After hearing news about the disaster made by storm Ondoy, I promised to my self to help in anyways to the victims. If only I'm in Luzon I would really rush to the Sagip Kapamilya station to volunteer. I was planning to donate in cash but sad to say I have bills needs to pay on this week. Yesterday during my rest day, I raid my closet and separate the clothes that I'm not going to wear. I've learned from the Oprah show in cleaning your rooms. My closet is not messy already. It is not full of unused clothes. Later that afternoon I went to Fuente area where the DSWD of Cebu City government placed their tent for the donations for the Ondoy's victims. It really feels good to help my fellow Filipinos. That during down times we are all one. Everyone is ready to offer their help in any ways. The spirit of Bayanihan is always there in the hearts of Filipino.
