Kusu Island

Singapore has been my second home for more than 7years now. I thought I went all places in this country but not this island called Kusu. It is a small island in the southern part of Singapore and can be through ferry from Marina South Pier.

Ferry Price : $18 for adults and $12 for children 1-12 years old
(loop ferry from Marina South Pier to St. John to Kusu Island)

There are timings each day for the ferry. You can visit their website : http://www.islandcruise.com.sg/

It was a rainy day when we scheduled for a visit so we just skipped St. John then stayed in Kusu Island. Kusu means "Tortoise Island" in Chinese. They have a Tortoise sanctuary, temple and a peaceful beach. The place has its own toilet and shower which is great. You need to bring your own food and drinks when you visit as there is not stores but they have smalls cottages with tables and BBQ pit. I saw as well some fishing enthusiast having a good time as well.

It is a weekday when we went here so not that much people in the island. A good place to meditate and just be away from the busy city.

Punta Princesa and El Nido Trip

We decide to visit one of the tourist spots which is the Underground River in Punta Princesa and drove to El Nido for 5hrs via a private van.
I had fun in this trip with my Mama, Deejoy, Luigi and Tita Vicky.

I love the food and the beaches are awesome.
Approximately, around Php10,000 each person has been spent including airfare (Manila to/from Puerto Princesa), bus/van fare, meals and 3 nights in a resort.

Japan 2013

My ticket is quite expensive as it was a last minute decision to travel before going to Philippines. Scoot Airlines for my flight from Singapore then 2hrs stopover at Taiwan then Tokyo, Japan.

I have only 1 day in Tokyo so when I arrived in Narita Airport early morning I straight checked in to my hotel near airport.
As a kid at heart I really wanted to go Disneyland... I took the NEX Train to Tokyo.
The Tokyo MRT was so big that I will be lost if I was not given the direction by my friends.
*** I should have gone to Disney Sea World as the Disneyland Tokyo not that much different from Disneyland Hongkong.

Disneyland Japan Castle
Train from Tokyo to Narita
NEX Line going to Tokyo

Early morning the next day, I travelled domestic flight from Tokyo to Osaka. There a bullet train from Tokyo to Osaka but due to my limited time and budget I took the 1hr plane ride.
Then from Osaka Airport, I took the bus going to Nara to meet up my friends (Jaja & Ogong)

Osaka Castle

We tried the capsule bed in Osaka then transferred to a hotel room just to be safe as I have luggage that wont fit in there lockers.
For my Day 4 & 5, I roam around Osaka alone. I sent to Tempozan Ferris Wheel and Osaka Aquarium. Since USJ is just in the opposite of the river. I took the ferry to USJ.
The next day, I went to that Osaka castle and just roam around Osaka City.
It was nice experience. Next time I should stay longer.
